A swedish innovation to help you smoke trash-free.
The paper-based pocket ashtray.

In 2013 Alice asked smokers why they flick their cigarette butts away on the ground. She had started to count cigarette butts and realized how many butts there were covering the streets. All smokers looked at Alice like she was insane. (Alice is not a smoker herself, in case you hadn't guessed it already). It turns out there was a series of buts behind those butts.
Cigarette butts stink. So does ashtrays, even the available pocket ashtrays. And often paper bins were far away or nowhere to be seen. There was a need for a pocket ashtray to be smell-free, fit in your pocket, fit a packet of cigarette butts (15-20), be disposable as household garbage or the nearest paper bin and be environmentally friendly. The idea of Nano-bin was born.
Nano-bin has been on the market in kiosks in Berlin since 2016. Follow us on social media to see where we are available next.
